Huge trees covered w ith Spanish Moss hid these residences from public view even in their heyday.

L' re is no way to know if any of these dark deeds took place at Capone's house o r actually occurred at all. If they did, it's unlikely that Capone had any inv olvement since he was rarely there and showed no interest in such things. Howeve r, the Boss €™s home was a different story.

After years of building fences aroun d it, installing lights to illuminate it at night and responding to endless call s of break-ins, odd noises, ghosts sightings and people suddenly acting in an ir rational manner when near it, local authorities gave up. They ordered the house condemned and tore it down. The current house on that location has no associatio n with the Capone residence.

Whether it was the stock market crash, end of prohi bition or a curse sometimes associated with that area, Capone €™s Gangplank Club and most of the retail establishments in that area eventually closed down. L' Jungle Prada was just too far off the beaten path to be profitable for anyone an d it's been that way ever since. The closing of an airport used by Capone and Country Club Hotel guests also added to the Prada's economic demise. The Tyron e Square Mall is now on that location, but too far away to be of any economic be nefit to the Prada.

Some say that the place is just unlucky, others blame the ba d luck on a curse that allegedly exists on the land due to the mistreatment and murder of the Tocobaga Native People. Except for a housing boom in the 1950s and 1960s which ate up a large portion of land that was largely unused, the place h asn €˜t had much in the way of good fortune or a legacy to brag about.

Even resi dents of nearby communities that were a part of the building boom haven't comp leted escaped the curse. Despite skyrocketing real estate prices, neighborhood a ssociations are constantly at odds with town officials that seem bent on relocat ing facilities and services elsewhere to benefit other communities.

Jungle Prada can't seem to escape its unseemly reputation. Parks in the area offer popular activities to residents and feature spectacular natural beauty, but home owners have to share these town properties with others that come for very different re asons. Reasons that are a constant thorn in the side of people living near the P rada.

Ghost Tours are regularly lead through the Prada by entrepreneurial profit eers. Historic Markers constantly remind visitors of the extinct Tocobaga People . Tourists visit by the thousands each year to see the ancient burial mounds. Ot hers want a look at Capone's Club where Babe Ruth was married. Mediums, Spirit ualists and Ghost Hunters drop by to contact the dead. UFO Researchers search fo r Ghost Lights or unidentified underwater objects that are said to speed through the Bay in this alleged western section of the Bermuda Triangle. And don't fo rget about Bigfoot.

Thinking back to Stan Johnson’s revelation about the intel ligence of the Sasquatch and the portals through which they travel makes me wond er. Is it possible that there are inter-dimensional portals in the Jungle Prada? If there are, it may be that the Bigfoot creatures are not the only ones able t o use them. That might explain all the paranormal activity and why a Bigfoot cre ature might occasionally be seen in that area.

Listening to Stan, I get the impr ession that the Sasquatch are concerned about our well-being and exist on a very high spiritual level. It may be that they help keep dark forces at bay or Alien s bent on invasion from coming through the portals. I guess you could almost des cribe them as some sort of inter-dimensional Peace Keepers. However, the degree of their success may also depend on our own efforts and it's obvious that we d o not always act in our own best interest.

While interviewing some of the surviv ors of the Philadelphia Experiment and Montauk Project, I was told that a large hairy creature once appeared out of nowhere during one of the inter-dimensional time travel experiments at the Montauk Base. Looking exactly like a Bigfoot, it seemed bent on destroying the equipment and closing down the project. This makes me wonder if those in charge were accessing one of the portals reported to exis t on or near the Base.

The Montauk Project was a government program designed to develop and take control of time and inter-dimensional travel, develop technolog ies to respond to the perceived Alien threat and perfect mind control and psychi c weapons. Those goals would be at odds with the mission of the Sasquatch. Che mission may be to keep all things equal, prevent conflicts between beings sharin g the universe and bring humans closer to a higher spiritual existence. As a res ult, the Sasquatch might have tried to shut down the experiments at Montauk to s ave us from ourselves. Unfortunately, they failed.

Taking things a step further, I wonder why the physical aspects and overall behavior of the Sasquatch do not seem to match the intellect that Stan claims they possess. Is it possible that t he hairy creatures we see are merely physical vessels housing some sort of spiri tual or ascended beings? As wild as that sounds, it makes sense.

If you were vis iting another world or dimension and faced a potential threat from the inhabitan ts or other beings visiting at the same time, you might take the form of somethi ng large and strong if you had the ability to do so. I believe that the Bigfoot creatures are unknown animals kept from extinction by inter-dimensional beings u sing them for protection. It's also possible that the inter-dimensional beings could have brought these creatures from another time, place or plain of existen ce. That might help explain why we can't seem to locate any small or large gro ups of the creatures, despite all the evidence for their existence.

If what Stan and others say is true and my own theory is correct, it would explain the duali ty of abilities and skills that these beings possess. At times they seem to hunt , feed and communicate in the most primitive way. On other occasions they demons trate excellent communication skills and exhibit evidence of a society with an a dvanced social structure and communal sense of spiritual well-being. All this pr ovides evidence that advanced beings are using Sasquatch as a walk-in whenever t he need arises.

After all my theorizing, we still have to drop back to one, all- important question: Does Bigfoot exist at all? And despite all the skeptical Nay Sayers out there that think not, there is a substantial amount of evidence for the physical existence of Bigfoot. The evidence includes reliable eyewitness tes timony, a continuing series of sightings over a long period of time, repeat sigh tings in various places, physical evidence, photographs, film, video and sound r ecordings.

Manitoba, Canada, is one of the areas where Bigfoot has made regular appearances since the 1800s. In 2005, a ferry boat operator named Bobby Clarke f ilmed a creature that might have been ten feet tall a few hundred miles north of Winnipeg. Clark, a First Nation Canadian, ferries people and cargo across the N elson River. On the morning of April 16, 2005, he arrived at the docks around 6: 30 in the morning. At first light he saw “a big black figure” on the opposit e shore of the river, grabbed his camcorder and started filming.

His sister conf irmed that Clarke rarely goes anywhere without his small camcorder. Maybe that € ™s because another Ferry Operator named Hubert Folster saw the same thing almost a year before Clarke. Folster didn't have a camera with him, but watched for six minutes as very tall and dark figure moved along the waterfront on the oppos ite shoreline. Folster says of his experience, “It just wasn't right.†He doesn't know exactly what he saw, dislikes discussing the event and obviously has no desire to repeat the experience. The sighting left Folster feeling very u neasy and didn't do much for Clarke's peace of mind either.

After watching a nd filming the creature for almost three minutes, Clarke dropped his camera when the dark figure turned and faced him. He draws a bit of a blank at that point a nd says that the entire episode left him upset. Clarke's sister says he was un able to work for several days afterward and that things do not usually affect hi m in that way. Clark has seen large bears and all sorts of wildlife, but nothing like this and nothing that has ever upset him this much.

Another video of Bigfo ot was filmed in Canada this year (2007) by a man who calls himself Doug Thomas from Peguis, Manitoba. He describes the event:

“This footage was captured in P eguis, Manitoba, Canada. My son and I were going out to cut some wood as we came over the ridge we could see something crossing the road by time my boy got the camera out it this is what we captured.

I guess I should make this clear first I 'm not claiming that its “Bigfoot or Sasquatch, I just don't know? There r eally isn't much more that I can say about the footage, my boy and I were head ing out to the gravel pits to cut some firewood. On the way over a ridge we coul d see something crossing the road on the next ridge probably about纐 yards awa y.

I slowed down and told my boy to grab my camcorder from the back seat. By the time he had it going what ever we saw had already walked across the road behind a mound of rocks.

What you see in the video is clearer then what I actually saw because we were so far away. The “creature” quickly disappeared into the wo ods and what we seen the video is the last we saw of it.

We stopped and shouted, “who’s there?” with no response. I remember looking at the tracks but don 't recall anything abnormal about them, it just looked like where someone had walked through the snow. I should have videoed the tracks but didn't even thin k of it at the time.”

Whether Bigfoot is merely an undiscovered primate, physi cal vessel used by higher forces or a group of peace-loving creatures with a str uctured society, it's all but certain that they exist in the physical world at least some of the time. More importantly, they do so with or without our abilit y to believe in them.

I Saw The Loch Ness Monster – A True Story Of Inexplicable Events!

The much feared great white shark has been reg arded as non-existent, in UK waters. Until very recently that is! Apart from rec ent claimed sightings from fishermen in Cornwall and from Newhaven and other fis hing ports, there had been no 'proof' that great whites frequent the cold co astal waters of the UK. There has never been a recorded shark attack in the UK a s far as I can find and the chances of attack, even off California where great w hites hunt seals, are still ridiculously low. Sharks are intelligent too in thei r own highly developed ways.

I always 'knew’ they were there though. I pescatori have caught shark species unknown to science off the south of England and more mysteries are yet to be revealed. Giant sturgeon have been stranded far up river s like the Stour, miles inland. Gigantic leatherback turtles have regularly been washed up on shores around the south west coasts. Giant tuna well over 500 poun ds in weight are still seen off the Yorkshire coast. Even Gavin Maxwellâ ™s book “A ring of bright water” describes a creature resembling the fabled 'Loch Ness Monster €™ with a long neck off barely inhabited Scottish islands. I mysel f experienced the creature's presence while standing by the freezing cold flat calm Loch on a bright sunny morning in February 2002.

The day was calm and sunn y but temperatures were cold following a hard frost that morning. Standing on th e jetty by the castle in Urquahart bay I felt an unprecedented irrational fear s weep over me and I backed off the jetty fast. I walked up the grassy slope feeli ng foolish not having felt such a feeling ever before strong enough to move me f rom standing over the cold peaty red – black water.

Now as a very serious fisherman I have spe nt 30 years intensively spending a great proportion of this time on the banks an d shores of hundreds of lakes, lochs, rivers, seas, ponds, and stretches of wate r, most often all night long. But I've never experienced such a unique feeling of fear before even at 'haunted €™ locations or in fierce lightening storms o r on the darkest of nights miles from civilisation.

I know fish behaviour pretty well and felt something was very ‘wrong' when just then I observed trout le aping high out of the water. This was only 200 metres away from my position over far deeper water and these fish were in such a highly excited state, darting ab out everywhere as if looking to escape something unseen below them. I quickly fe lt in my bag for my binoculars when I realised I did not need them…

I am more than scientific when it comes to the 'unknown,' requiring measurement and evidence and past records to verify anything unusual. I preferably would experience things 'firs t hand’ before analysing and concluding anything substantial. I did not really think the mythical 'Loch Ness monster' existed except in the minds of fanta sists or locals benefiting from the tourist trade in the area.

The major 2 reaso ns for this was that the entire loch had been under ice during the last ice age, so most likely preventing anything from remaining from previous times. Not only this, but detailed surveys show 'insufficient' fish stocks present in the l och which would appear to not be able to support a population of large animals f or sustenance.

Please picture this now, because this is what I observed next: As a fish turns its flank over and rolls just under the surface of the water, it r aises the water above it. I have observed this hundreds of times over the years being a big fish angler (mainly of giant catfish and big carp) of 30 years exper ience. The width, depth and length of the fish is indicated by the dimensions of this water movement discerned by the experienced eye. What this indicated was a massive creature.

For example an average sized large 30 pound carp may move a s ignificant oval shaped area of water at the surface of perhaps to 3 feet. Such a fish would be about 3 feet long and between a foot and a foot and a quarter dee p. The surface water movement I observed was about 15 feet long by 10 feet acros s… I never saw what caused it but I €™ve fished right next to large seals, seen deer swimming in a lake, know very well the depth of sturgeon and dolphins compared to carp an d whatever caused this phenomenal water movement was none of these possibilities . This was no killer whale or known cetacean either if that's what you are thi nking…

There was a weird fact about my camera which is not uncommon at this loch. It has never failed me in thousands of photographs taken on thousands of bright days or dark even misty nights or on the hottest to the coldest of winter night temperatures . I am very careful to keep the battery at least new or at least 'half full. € ™ On attempting to photograph the water anomaly, the camera failed completely de spite calmly retrying. Filming under pressure of speed is not at all new to me w ith this camera. No photo was achieved.

Once all was calm, as if nothing had eve r happened to disturb the completely calm surface of the thousands of feet deep bay without even a ripple present, I tried the camera again. This time it worked; in the 5 years since then, it has never failed either. There is definitely far more to t his place than is yet known and not merely electrical anomalies. As someone has actually touched a ghost person – I therefore KNOW not merely just believe the y do indeed exist, just like our 'electro-magnetic energy body' exists.)

I c onceive that this Loch Ness creative could possibly be a 'ghost' or some kin d of recording released by the electrical energy produced by gigantic forces cau sed by the faults and rocks movements present beneath the entire length of this long loch. (This does not explain sightings by police and military in waters wit h no faults present.) However, there are unusual lights occasionally observed in the Loch Ness area attributed to electical effects from the rocks and fault bel ow the loch.

Whatever happened, this is my experience. This was no 'giant bubb le' of gas escaping from the depths. I do not subscribe to the ‘plesiosaur € ™ theory – having seen in close detail the fossil skeletons of plesiosaurs and plesiosaur-like animals in the 'Natural History Museum' here in the UK. The chest and abdom en dimensions were not correct for the depth of water movement I saw and there w as no evidence of water disturbance from flipper appendages either. I feel this creature I experienced is a different one to the popular 'mythical' version altogether.

One of the most puzzling aspects of this whole €˜mythical' creatu re and its sightings, is that when Urquahart Castle was inhabited for generation s (overlooking the very deepest water at the mouth of Urquahart Bay) this phenom enon was never reported. So what is really going in this ancient place?

In doing the research for my UFO-Alien book, what I discovered a bout what the US Presidents knew or didn't know about the UFO-Alien question was somewhat ov erwhelming. I simply did not know such a mountain of evidence existed. The evide nce indicated that not only were most Presidents since Truman UFO-Alien savvy, b ut also that Eisenhower may have had an encounter with representatives of an Ali en Nation and agreed to terms in a treaty called The Greada Treaty. Richard M. N ixon was, of course, Eisenhower's Vice-President. Whether Nixon had an interest in the UFO-Ali en issue or not is spelled out in this story.

Nixon was known as an UFO enthusia st. It is said that he not only had a large collection of books on the subject i n his personal library, but also would talk with almost anyone about the subject . (If the Greada Treaty is true, then wouldn't you have loved to been a fly on the wall when I ke and Tricky Dicky had fireside chats?). Nixon shared this interest with his fr iend and golfing buddy, Jackie Gleason.

Entertainer Jackie Gleason had a lifelon g fascination with the subject. Some of his pals and cohorts would say he border ed on being a fanatic about it. Although Gleason was not afraid or embarrassed a t who knew of his UFO-Alien hobby, he was strangely careful with whom he discuss ed the issues. For some reason, he would launch into a UFO-Alien diatribe with s ome people but not with others. Nixon, on the other hand, seemed to be highly se lective with whom he brought up and discussed the phenomenon.

On a particular tr ip to Florida in February 1973, President Nixon came to help Jackie Gleason with a charity golf tournament. It was during that trip that Nixon showed Gleason ev idence of extraterrestrials. Nixon actually ditched his secret service escort, a trick he was renowned for doing, so he could drive a car right up to the Gleaso n estate. (According to Secret Service Agent, Marty Venker, Nixon was infamous f or ditching his Secret Service protection and did so on more than one occasion.) . Nixon got Gleason into the car and off they went to Homestead Air Force Base s o Nixon could show him the bodies of aliens.

Gleason's second wife, Beverly, claimed that Glea son relationship with Nixon was more than just as golfing chums. According to Mr s. Gleason in an unpublished manuscript, she alleged that during Nixon's February 1973 trip, N ixon took Jackie to Homestead Air Force Base to show him the bodies of aliens. B everly Gleason alleges Jackie came home visibly shaken and on the verge of a bre akdown. Though Gleason neither confirmed nor denied the story when investigators inquired, there was an independent confirmation of Beverly Gleason's story.

Larry Warren was a soldier stationed in England at the Air Force Security Police at RAF Bentwater s during one of the greatest military witnessed UFO cases thus far. The case is known as the Rendlesham Forest Case. Through mutual family friends, Gleason arra nged to meet Warren in Gleason's home in May 19ȶ. It was during this time that Gleason spille d the beans to Larry Warren, confirming Beverly Gleason's account in her unpublished book.

Whe n they met, Warren commented on Gleason's vast UFO book collection. This apparently was the im petus that got Gleason to tell the story of the President coming to personally p ick him from his Florida mansion and show him the aliens. Warren recalls Gleason telling him “We got them…” and then going on to recount the same basic story he had told his wife Beverly.

Warren relates how Gleason told him that at first he believed this was a joke based on the con versation he and Nixon had on the golf course earlier that afternoon. Though the details of that encounter with President Nixon were not revealed to Warren, one can only assume it had to do with what Gleason saw.

Nixon drove through the gua rd's gate at the base and pulled up to some buildings. Nixon took him into a lab, and then pas sed through several corridors before they entered a part of the building where t here was wreckage of discs in wooden crates. They continued walking until they c ame to another section of the facility that housed glassed-topped freezer units. Gleason said what he saw first reminded him of children. Upon closer examinatio n, he realized what he was looking at. Some of the bodies looked older than the others but all were mangled as though they had been pulled from an accident. Gle ason was certain, said Warren, that what he saw was not human.

Gleason admits go ing through a three-week period afterward in which he was unable to sleep or eat bene. What seemed to bother him most, Warren commented, was why was the governm ent was hiding the truth from the American people.

I actually can recal l this event and reading how mad Nixon was with Jackie for telling Beverly. L' rumor was that Beverly Gleason, who was including this event in her unpublished book, canned the book after having a talk with Nixon. I cannot confirm whether t his is true or not. However, the book has never been published.

Conspiracies: The Pyramid and the Sphinx

Egypt h as long been the source of countless conspiracies, ranging from ancient lost civ ilizations to extraterrestrial markers. The reason for this focus is likely beca use Egypt is the most romanticized ancient civilization, and also because it is home to the mystical Great Pyramid of Giza, the only surviving Wonder of the Anc ient World. This article will describe some of the conspiracies surrounding the Sphinx and the Pyramid.

The Riddle of the Sphinx

Most of the conspiracy theories revolving around the Sphinx usually involve its age. The Sphinx is generally ac cepted to have been built along with the Pyramids of Giza around 2500 BC. Si tratta di even accepted that the face of the Sphinx bears the likeness of Khafre (Chephren ), the Pharaoh during that time.

However, there was no written record from that era regarding the Sphinx or its construction. In addition, the human head of the Sphinx is small in relation to the rest of the body, indicating that the head b earing Pharaoh Khafre's likeness could have been carved out of a larger lion's head. These points led some r esearchers to believe that the Sphinx could have been built much earlier by a mo re ancient civilization, thus starting a whole host of conspiracy theories.

Geol ogist Dr. Robert Schoch and author John Anthony West made a case that the erosio n marks on the Sphinx appears not to be made by wind or sand, but by water, such as falling rain. They used evidence of other structures in the Giza area to pro ve their point. If this were true, the construction of the Sphinx could then be dated back to at least 5000 BC, when the area still received substantial rainfal l, in contrast to desert conditions later on.

In his official website, Director of the Giza Monuments Dr. Zahi Hawass provides various points suggesting that th e evidence used in proving Dr. Schoch's theory is flawed.

Adding to the conspiracies surroundi ng the age of the Sphinx, writers Graham Hancock and Robert Buvaul provide evide nce in their book Message of the Sphinx that the creation of the Sphinx and Pyra mids can be pushed back as far as 10,5Ǡ BC using astronomical data.

Secret of t he Pyramids

The Pyramids of Giza have been the objects of many conspiracies over gli anni. Many people believe that the Pyramids are a link to an ancient lost civilization, and may still contain evidence to prove it. Many conspiracy theori es regarding secret chambers and passageways within the pyramids exist to this d ay.

These conspiracy theories became even more widespread in 1ᚡ, when Dr. Zahi Hawass announced that the Great Pyramid of Khufu was to be closed to the public for a year. The reason given for the closure was to facilitate cleaning, conser vation and restoration of the interior chambers in the Great Pyramid.

However, c onspiracy theorists believe that the Egyptian authorities had uncovered evidence of a lost civilization in the Pyramid, and were secretly excavating it to revea l more information.

During the conservation process in 1993, robots were used to explore the small ventilation shafts leading from the “King's Chamber” and the lower “Queen's Chamber” in the Great Pyramid. An intriguing discovery was made: part way through the shafts of the “Queen's Chamber” were “doors” with handles.

In order to prove the transparency of their work and debunk any conspiracie s, Dr. Zahi Hawass decided to partner with National Geographic to explore beyond the “doors”, and provide a live telecast of the exploration to the rest of the world.

After much publicity, the expedition commenced, with footage telecast live around the world. During t he last minute of the show, a camera was sent in a hole made in the “door” of the shaft, revealing another “door” behind it. And that wa s when the show finished. Conspiracy theories started sprouting, asking the foll owing questions: “What's behind the 2nd door? Why did the show end so abruptly? What are they hiding from us ? "

Screamin' Demon

That child of mine is turning into demon baby bit by bit everyday. Recently she has reverted back to h er newborn self and doesn't want to sleep through the night. First of all the child has never ever liked to go to bed. Sempre. As a three month old she would stay awake all nig ht, not crying, just laughing, playing, hanging out while I quietly prayed to Go d asking him what did I do to deserve the non-sleeping baby. I've pulled many a twenty-four ho ur night because she wouldn't sleep and refused to lay down.

So, last night she wakes up aroun d four in the morning and starts a hollering. I go and get her, thinking that if I lay her down with me she'll go to sleep and then I can put her back in bed. No. Little Ms. Insomniac wants to play. So I let her no that that's not an option and put her little butt bac k to bed. Of course that doesn't go over well and she starts screaming bloody murder. I mean y ou'd think I was beating the child senseless.

Well this screaming match wakes my mother up and she just knows I'm abusing the baby or something. I say no, Little Ms. Insomniac just doesn't want to go to letto. She insists that I stop her from hollering since she knows someone is goin g to call the cops since it sounds like I'm killing the baby. I politely remind her that said baby only cries like that 'cause grandma would go and pick her up when she cried saying, “Oh that baby isn't sleepy. That's not right to make her cry. Go and pick her up.” So grandma would go and pick the baby up…creating our current little mon ster.

Well of course mom doesn't like that bit of information so she promptly marches in the r oom to tell little baby to “Hush right now. Stop all that screaming and go to bed.” Of course my little ange l starts to scream more. So I relent. Go and pick her up and once again lay her down with me. Except my little munchkin decides that she wants to get up and wal k around. This ticks grandma off who insists, “Oh no. She will not walk around. You're going to bed little g irl.” So she grabs her grandbaby and puts her to bed, closes the door and lets her precious gr andbaby cry herself to sleep. At which point she refers to her as the Screamin' Demon. Of cour se if she would have just let her do that in the beginning we wouldn't have had all that drama and I would have been able to actually get some sleep.
